• Appoint an independent solicitor who will undertake the legal and procedural issues of purchasing, and the payments to the contractor (when the customer is abroad he/she can give power of attorney to the solicitor to act on his/her behalf).
• The supporting documents required from the customer for buying property in Greece are a copy of their passport and A.F.M (number of tax record, which can be issued by him/her, or their appointed solicitor.
• (If the client lives abroad) Opening a joint account with his/her solicitor in a Greek bank that the solicitor can use to make necessary payments relating to the purchase and the stage payments.
